Overview​

WitnessAI is an AI security and governance platform built for enterprises deploying AI at scale. Operating at the network level, it gives organisations full visibility into AI activity, cataloguing every application, agent and MCP server in use and monitoring prompts and responses as they happen.​

Key Technology Insights​

The platform enforces policy by evaluating each interaction across three dimensions: Identity (who is acting), Intent (the objective) and Information (the data involved). Because it interprets intent rather than matching keywords, it inspects attachments, PDFs, OCR'd images and Microsoft Copilot sessions, and can block, redact or warn. Single-tenant deployment with customer-held keys is standard; endpoint and sovereign Docker options are more recent.​

Industry Application​

The most mature uses are employee AI governance and model defence: shadow AI monitoring and data-leakage prevention, and protecting internal chatbots from prompt injection attacks.
